Eagles Nest is approximately 2.5 hours from Chicago ’s Northwest Suburbs.  It is located on Highway 78 in the Village of Merrimac and is accessible off Interstate 90-94 by exiting Highway 78 South (Exit 108) or (during non-winter months) exiting Highway 60 (Exit 119 Lodi) West to Highway 113 North and ride the free ferry across Lake Wisconsin. The Ferry is part of the highway and takes 10 minutes to cross the lake, bringing you directly into the Village of Merrimac .  Turn right when you reach the stop sign off of the ferry onto River Street . The house is on the right 1/4 of a mile. 431 River Street .
